Mindy Cancila re-joined Dell Technologies in 2022 as Vice President, Strategy & Growth Activation. She spent six years with Dell earlier in her career, focused on business and technology strategies for Dell’s multi-billion-dollar enterprise storage business as well as Dell's private cloud strategy for the Enterprise Product Group. She then spent eight years at Gartner covering compute and storage platforms, datacenter and cloud networking solutions and Edge technologies. Her current focus as part of Dell’s Corporate Strategy Office is leading the Strategy Growth and Activation team, developing strategies in growth vectors.

Mindy is a natural collaborator and has a reputation for building effective and innovative cross-functional teams that help customers discover and implement the right technologies to achieve their business needs. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Management from Oklahoma State University.

Neil Skaria joined Dell Technologies in 2019 as part of its intense, two-year Finance Development Program. After gaining hands-on experience in pricing, portfolio management and aligning joint priorities between Dell and VMware, he joined Dell’s Corporate Strategy Office. His current focus is the evolving landscape of generative A.I. and artificial intelligence at large. Neil holds a bachelor of business administration degree with a specialization in finance from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.

Dr. Tahir Ekin

Fields Chair in Business Analytics
McCoy College of Business, Texas State University

Tahir Ekin is Fields Chair in Business Analytics at McCoy College of Business at Texas State University and the director of the Texas State Center for Analytics and Data Science. His areas of research expertise include health care fraud analytics and decision modeling under uncertainty. In addition to dozens of scholarly articles, Dr. Ekin authored a book, Statistics and Health Care Fraud: How to Save Billions. His research has been funded by agencies including the National Science Foundation, Air Force Scientific Office of Research, and Texas Health and Human Services. He holds a Ph.D. in decision sciences from The George Washington University and a B.S. in industrial engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey. He is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute.

Alexander McLeod, Ph.D., is a professor and Associate Dean for Faculty Success and Research in McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. He manages McCoy College faculty policies and procedures, research initiatives and funding, and supports faculty promotion and tenure. As associate dean, Dr. McLeod is committed to helping facilitate and showcase McCoy College’s business and socially impactful research. He received his Ph.D. in information technology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and previously served as the department chair for the Department of Information Systems and Analytics and the Department of Health Information Management at Texas State. He has over 60 publications, and he is the recipient of several teaching and research awards. His scholarly interests include cyber security, analytics, business ethics and healthcare information systems.
