If you’ve ever given even the slightest thought about getting a Ph.D. then this session is a must for you.  We’ll cover what it takes to get into a program, figuring out which schools to apply to, which schools might actually accept you, and managing the application process.  We will also discuss what life is like as a doctoral student, what is the course work load, and if you can actually have a life outside of school.  Lastly, we’ll learn which doctoral programs pay you to attend them and which make you pay them (which is a good sign that you don’t want to go there!)

Dr. Miller is a full Professor of Management at Texas State University.  He holds BA, MBA, M.Ed., and Ph.D. degrees and has published over 35 scholarly articles and presented papers at almost 30 national conferences.  He is a former Associate Editor at two A-rated journals:   (1) Journal of Managerial Psychology and (2) Group and Organization Management.  He currently serves or has served in the past on the Editorial Boards of five different journals.  He is also the only two-time winner in history of the annual Gary Woods Award as outstanding researcher in the McCoy College of Business Administration.”
