Brian McCoy, CEO, McCoy's Building Supply


Brian is a 1972 graduate of Ball High School in Galveston and a 1975 graduate of Texas Tech University with a BBA in finance. He grew up in his family’s business and has worked in the lumberyard, on the sales floor, as a truck driver, assistant store manager, store manager, merchandise manager, Vice President, Co-President, and has served as President and CEO since 2001. McCoy’s operates 86 stores and 2 manufacturing facilities in 5 states with annual sales exceeding $690 million.

Brian is a partner in McCoy Remme Ranches, a cow-calf operation with land holdings in far West Texas. He serves as President-Elect of the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas and on the board of Intimate Life Ministries, both headquartered in Austin, and is the Chairman of the McCoy College of Business Administration Development Foundation. Brian is married to his high school sweetheart, Wetonnah, and they have two grown children, Reid and his wife, Katherine, and Meagan and her husband, Richard, and four grandchildren.

Meagan McCoy Jones, Vice President of Field Support, McCoy's Building Supply


Meagan is a 2000 graduate of San Marcos Baptist Academy in San Marcos and a 2004 graduate of the University of Richmond in Virginia where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She has a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Meagan is the fourth generation to work for McCoy’s. Her first job was the Headquarters receptionist…she was 10 years old. Like Brian, Meagan grew up at McCoy’s and has worked as an advertising intern, salesperson, assistant store manager, director, and Vice President of Field Support, and currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of McCoy's Building Supply.

Meagan is a member of the Board of Directors of McCoy Corporation, a partner in McCoy Remme Ranches, member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Builders, co-Chair of the Legislative committee of the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas, and passionately serves on the Board of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, an Austin-based ministry to the chronically homeless. She is married to Richard Jones, and they have a six-year-old son, Gideon, and three-year-old daughter, Greta. They live in downtown Austin.
