Net Impact - 1 of 10 Universities Chosen to Compete in UniGame National Competition

Congratulations to our Texas State Net Impact chapter! Net Impact students earned one of ten spots to compete in the UniGame National Competition held in January. The team traveled to New York after winning 1st place in the popular vote. They placed 2nd overall after presenting their case to a panel of judges.

UniGame is a business case campus competition. Teams create proposals based on an identified business need that is submitted in video form and uploaded to the UniGame site. The videos are open to the public for voting. Teams with the most votes earned a spot to compete.

This year's business challenge was how to interact with consumers to efficiently, effectively and sustainably reach digital consumers with Unilever's products and platforms.

Finalists have the opportunity to interview for the Unilever Leaders Internship and Future Leaders Programs. The winning team advances to the Global Unilever Business Competition held in Canada.

While in New York the students had the opportunity to visit with Jonas Haertle, Secretariat of UN Global Compact and PRME and Brandon Pastor, Participants and Communications Associate, PRME.
