Gene Roe provides leadership in regards to Strategic Planning and execution of the firm’s long term Vision. Planned Giving has become a passion for Gene. He has facilitated millions of dollars in Planned Gifts working with donors and providing consulting to nonprofits. He also continues to manage accounts for a select group of Planto Roe clients.

Planto Roe is an active supporter of Texas State University. Gene is a member of the Texas State T Association and The Athletic Pillar. Their company name is proudly displayed in Bobcat Stadium and the End Zone Complex.  The McCoy College of Business dean's conference room also displays their name.

Gene and his wife Tami live in San Antonio, Texas with their two daughters Catherine and Melanie.  Gene and Tami are both active in their church and community.  He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and reading.  An advocate of continued personal growth, Gene currently is working on a Masters in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary.
