February 14, 2012: Mr. T. Paul Bulmahn

Chairman & CEO, ATP Oil & Gas Corporation

T. Paul Bulmahn

T. Paul Bulmahn is Chairman, CEO and Founder of international offshore oil and gas development company ATP Oil & Gas Corporation (NASDAQ: ATPG). In addition to managing and directing a publicly traded global oil and gas company, active in the Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean Sea and North Sea, Mr. Bulmahn is a principal in Planet Green Solutions, Inc., pioneering an innovative biomass reactor to convert waste into electricity. He is also the owner of GoldMark Farm LLC, a training facility for foreign and domestic thoroughbreds.

ATP Oil & Gas Corporation, located in Houston, and its related companies in London, Tel Aviv, and IJmuiden, Netherlands, have earned a reputation for superior performance with a historic 98% success rate developing offshore properties for commercial production.

The business strategy of acquiring from exploration companies already-drilled properties with proved reserves to develop, is unique in the offshore industry. From ATP’s beginning in 1991 Mr. Bulmahn was innovative in his approach to developing properties and was equally creative in rewarding his employees for meeting company targets. For exceeding ATP goals in 2006 Mr. Bulmahn rewarded every employee with a Volvo S60 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Planet Green Solutions invented a new way of processing waste with a carbon negative biomass reactor. The reactor incorporates a number of innovative ideas with technologies from the NASA space program, and generates electricity from biomass feedstock directly into the regional grid. The commercial potential of this biomass facility will extend to every industry located in an urban community that must dispose of continuing loads of biomass waste product.

GoldMark Farm, a 2,600 acre training facility for thoroughbreds in Ocala, Florida, was a significant immediate success. In June 2007, scarcely one year after the facility opened, its owner Mr. Bulmahn was named a “Top Ten Industry Leader To Watch” by the Thoroughbred Times. Horses trained at the farm frequently compete in graded stakes races like the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks and Breeder’s Cup races. GoldMark features a three-quarter-mile training track built with SafeTrack (comprised of recycled carpet pad fiber, elastic strands, wax and sand), one of very few training facilities in the world featuring an innovative surface exceptionally kind to the fragile legs of developing thoroughbreds.

Prior to forming ATP, Planet Green Solutions and GoldMark Farm, Mr. Bulmahn was President and Chairman of Harbert Oil & Gas Corporation. Earlier in his career he represented Tenneco in Washington D.C. and was an administrative law judge for the Railroad Commission of Texas. Mr. Bulmahn earned a B. A. from Valparaiso University; J. D. from University of Texas School of Law; and an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business, Texas State University, which in 2000 named him a Distinguished Alumnus.
