Margaret JabourMargaret Jabour is Executive Vice President and Co-Owner of Twin Liquors. Twin Liquors is a third generation family-owned and operated wine and spirits business that started after Prohibition in the heart of downtown Austin. As of today, the business has expanded from one small store in 1982 to a successful company consisting of sixty-eight locations throughout nine counties across Central Texas. Locations include both retail sales and wholesale distribution to bars and restaurants. Twin Liquors has a unique and well-respected reputation throughout the United States.

It has been nationally recognized for having impeccable team members, outstanding customer service, conveniently located stores, extensive selections of fine wines and premium spirits from around the world and substantial community involvement.

Margaret enjoyed retail beginning at an early age. At thirteen she started working at Muntz Cartridge City, an audio electronics business; shortly after being hired the owner made her manager over existing employees. By the age of sixteen, Margaret encouraged her uncle to open their own stereo business, Gabe’s Auto Stereo.

 While running a stereo shop Margaret graduated from Lanier High School in North Central Austin with high honors. In 1982 Margaret decided to continue her family wine and spirits business while earning her business degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
Margaret’s passion and love for the retail industry has earned Twin Liquors many awards of distinction over the years. In 1999, Twin Liquors was named one of the top retailers in the country from Market Watch Magazine, the sister publication of Wine Spectator. In 2004 and 2009, Margaret was honored with the wine and spirit industry’s most prestigious and coveted award, United States Retailer of the Year. The list of honored recognitions can continue on; however to Jabour, the greatest honors are the relationships that have been built.
Philanthropy and serving the community is of utmost importance to Jabour who provides sponsorship to over 500 charities annually. Jabour also chairs and serves as board member to several non-profit organizations. Margaret was honored with the prestigious Community Service Award for the Nation.
Margaret is board member, vice president and member of the Legislative counsel of the Texas Package Store Association. In addition, Jabour is a Member of the Wine & Spirits Guild of America which consists of the most prominent retailers in the United States. 
Margaret Jabour is a native Austinite and resides in Austin with her two sons Michael and Joseph Salome.
